NEWS January 2010: Kaye Contracting Company has a patented core collector for greens aerators that it says will revolutionize the way greens are aerified. “The new Kore Kleen has a huge impact on reducing the labor costs associated with greens aerification," said Don Johnston, director of aerification services for KCC and inventor of the Kore Kleen. "This product is the labor saving device that superintendents have been waiting for. Kore Kleen replaces the windrow attachment on walking greens aerifiers, collecting the cores as the greens are aerified. It then places them in a pile at the edge of the green for easy removal. Kore Kleen reduces the labor required for core removal by two thirds". Kaye Contracting has dozens of satisfied deep-tine aerification clients throughout the Southwest and has have developed core collectors for its own deep tine units.
